Mr. Blue Sky

Keysha and I talked to these girls as we waited at a call. She showed them Psalms 83:18 and between the two of them they figured out what God's name is.

"Tú, cuyo nombre es Jehová..."

Lunch. Cheap and delicious.

"Is that a house back there? Well, we're on an adventure." -Megan

The horses and cows were sharing the only shade in the whole field.

South end of Guiones beach, as we set out to go do Sarah's calls.

The only way to get to their houses is via the beach.

It was low tide.

Sweaty and messy-haired but happy.

A parrot at her Bible student Priscila's house. Priscila is about 16 and is very intelligent and really appreciates her Bible study. Also that day, we studied with Ivan who's about 11 and his nieces who appeared to be about 9 and 14. Camila and Cindy brought their books over and sat down when they saw that Ivan was having his study. All three were enthusiastic about raising their hands to answer for the paragraphs.

Isaac is Priscila's nephew... not very well behaved, but cute.

He was pretending to be driving some sort of vehicle that goes "Bbbbbbbbbb"

The view from Priscila's house.

Chris talking to a man who lives right on Playa Cangrejal.

The son of a sister in the Spanish hall was competing in this competition in Guiones. Sarah and I stopped by to say hi to him and his sister, and he said he'd placed second place in his division and was going to be in the finals. Unfortunately we couldn't stay to watch.

Practical footwear.

I want a kiiiiitttyyyyy....

"Is your mother home?" "Yeah." "Can you go call her for us?" "Okay."
She went in the house, and we heard "Tell them I'm not home."
She came back out and said "She's not home."

Karen made a friend.

We decided to do a collaborative dinner since we all had varying ingredients. Pasta + fruity drinks night.

The iguana that comes and eats the food scraps we toss in the yard. He has to share with the pigeons and vultures.

My wall of photographs is off to a good start.
